Cosco Guangzhou Made her maiden call at Felixstowe in late May. Measuring 350.6m by 42.8m and with a capacity of 9,467TEU, she is the first vessel of Cosco's new AEN Service between Asia and Europe to call at the port. Together with her sister ships Cosco Hellas, Cosco Ningbo, Cosco Beijing and Cosco Yantian, she is one of the largest container ships currently in service. Built in 2006 by Hyundai Heavy Industries and flying the Greek flag, she is powered by a single 101,644bhp engine and is capable of 25.4 knots.
