Stx Europe HAS delivered the advanced diving support vessel Skandi Arctic to Doftech DA. The 11,500dwt newbuilding measures 157m by 27m and has been designed, constructed and certified for worldwide trading. Her first employment will be an eight-year charter with Technip in the North Sea as a diving support vessel.rnFor this work she has been fitted with a Hyperbaric Monitoring and Control System which will be used to support the vessel's 24-man diving chamber complex. The ship has accommodation for 140 persons in 58 single cabins and 41 double cabins and has a cinema, gymnasium and rest and dayrooms.
