The veteranlng tanker Margaret Hill (1974/71,804gt) made an impressive sight at Southampton in November 2008, when she berthed to allow a local firm to fit equipment to enable her to liquefy natural gas direct from the well. The vessel (below) was built in Stavanger by Rosenburg Verft in 1974 as LNG Challenger. Five years later she became Pollenger, and further name changes saw her become Asake Maru in 1987 and Mystic Lady in 1998.
