This title describes life in wartime and post-war Britain as seen by a young Wren on duty in the Signal Tower at the RN base at Rosyth on the Forth estuary. Her letters to the author, a serving officer in a Gurkha Regiment on India's north west province, are faithfully reproduced and, along with the text in this generously illustrated book, describe Royal Navy and Indian Army training during World War II.
