The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is to deploy the very first 12.500TEU vessel on the Asia-US west coast trade. The 2011-built MSC Fabiola will be deployed on the company's Pearl River Express service (PRX) that is jointly operated with CMA CCM.rnFrom mid-March further ultra-large vessels will be deployed when MSC Francesca and MSC Luciana,rnboth with an 11,66OTEU capacity, will be phased into the service. Previously, all three vessels were participating in Far East-Europe/ Mediterranean services, and most recently on the Far East-North Europe Lion service. These ships are being replaced by newbuildings of 13,000 to 14.000TEU capacity.
