Bad week for Cal Mac trio

No fewer than three Caledonian MacBrayne vessels had to be taken out of service in little more than a week late in February following collisions with a duay or berth. First affected was Isle of Lewis (1995/6,753gt), damaged while leaving dock at Birkenhead following her annual overhaul. Hebridean Isles d985/3,040gt) had to be taken off the Islay run to deputise between Ullapool and Stornoway, as official Lewis stand-in Clansman d998/5,499gt) needed to go for her own overhaul in Aberdeen.
