A Voyage to Egypt

In the early 1980s my wife and I were resident in Egypt for a number of months while I was reporting on Middle East shipping developments for several international maritime magazines. This necessitated several trips to and from Egypt's port of Alexandria, all undertaken by sea. Four scheduled liner or 'ferry' services were being operated across the Eastern Mediterranean.
