Princess Anastasia, the larger unit in the two-ship St Peter Line, usually operates a combined cruise and ferry service linking St Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm and Tallinn, but in 2014 she will undertake two positioning cruises in conjunction with her charter as an accommodation ship for the Winter Olympic Games, The outbound voyage sails from St Petersburg on 9 January and, following calls at Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Tilbury (on 15 January), Le Havre, Bilbao, Lisbon, Gibraltar, Palma, Piraeus and Istanbul, she arrives in Sochi on 31 January. The return journey begins on 21 February and largely follows the same route, apart from the substitution of Mykonos and Palermo for Piraeus. Her Tilbury call will be on 11 March and she will be back in St Petersburg seven days later.
