Automation raises energy-efficiency on ferries and cruise ships

Together with the Swedish company CATC, the German provider of electrical connection and automation technology Wago has moder-nised the heating, Ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) control Systems on a Stena Line ferry. The WAGO-I/O-SYS-TEM 750 is used to synchro-nise and control the systems and contributes to significant energy savings on board. The project comprised a complete system upgrade from electrical design through to program-ming, project management, commissioning and after-sales service.
