David Williams, Master of Stena Superfast Ⅹ, discusses his ship and career to date with Nicholas Leach. When did you first go to sea? I first went to sea in 1979, working for Shell tankers. What ships have you served on? I worked for Shell from 1979 to 1984, then on coasters with Crescent Shipping. From 1988 to 1991 I was with Fishers, working on chemical tankers, moving to BT Marine on cable ships in 1991 and then since 19951 have been with Stena.
