Blue Star Line was one of the most prominent British shipping companies of the 20th century, Not only did it operate some of the world's finest cargo liners but it also had, arguably, the most distinctive funnel colours ever seen. This magnificent book contains, in great detail, the histories of the individual ships from Brodmore in 1909 to the final ships of Star Reefers in 2001. The variety of the hundreds of photographs, many in colour, is impressive and includes rare wartime images.
