May sees the 75th anniversary of 338,226 troops from the shattered port of Dunkirk and beaches stretching east towards the Belgian border between 27 May and 4 June 1940. More than 50 of the famous 'Little Ships' that took part in the evacuation, most now more than 80 years old, will be crossing the English Channel again to mark the 75th anniversary of the Operation.
