And this new DVD from Snowbow does just that, sailing from Liverpool on a cold, grey day to the tropics of the Amazon and a 5,000-mile river voyage all the way up to Iquitos and back. The 1,600gt Cuthbert negotiates the hazards of the fast-flowing river Amazon, without any of today's mod cons such as satellite navigation, side thrusters or even air-conditioning. Those were the days, when going to sea really was an adventure, so enjoy this opportunity to experience what it was like.
