The trimaran left the Philippines on 4 December 2014 and is seen near Poole completing a 10,500-nautical-miles delivery voyage on Boxing Day. Demand for Condor 102 sailings to Guernsey and Jersey, starting late March, gave Condor its busiest-ever reservations day. One of two vessels built for DFDS under a charter contract with Danish and German military logistics organisations, Ark Dania entered service between Esbjerg and Immingham in November 2014. Badly delayed by the financial problems of German builders P+S at stralsund, she and her sistership Ark Germania can carry up to 185 trailers on 3,000 lane metres of vehicle space, as well as containers handled by their own deck mounted cranes covering the shelter deck.
