Bravery recognised by RNLl

For their truly outstanding seamanship, tremendous courage and great leadership, Coxswain Richard Evans of the Moelf re lifeboat and Lt Cdr Harold Harvey, RNLl Inspector and Acting Coxswain of the Holyhead lifeboat, were each awarded a Cold Medal by the RNLl. This was the first such award to be made to a Lifeboat Inspector for an actual rescue, while Coxswain Evans became the first man to win a second RNLl Cold medal for more than 20 years.
