Malaysia's MISC Berhad is merging its chemical tanker fleet with the clean petroleum products fleet operated by its wholly-owned petroleum subsidiary AET, with AET to take over MISC's seven 38,000dwt Bunga A class ships and six 19,900dwt Bunga L class tankers, along with one 20,613dwt LPG carrier. These will be combined with AET's own fleet of eight product tankers, all of which are in the 50,000dwt range. No changes will be made to the flag or classification society of the ships, and MISC Berhad will continue to provide technical management for its former vessels.
