Form supply ship to floating hotel

The former Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) supply vessel Fingal has been unveiled as Scotland's first floating hotel. She is berthed a short walk from the Royal Yacht Britannia at Edinburgh's Leith Docks, and has benefited from a £5 million refurbishment programme. The conversion of the former working ship into a 23-bedroom hotel is the culmination of a project started in 2014, when the company managing the RoyalYacht Britannia announced the purchase of the vessel, which was at the time named Windsor Castle.
