Repositioning cruise on Viking Sun

I booked my cruise on the new Viking Ocean ship Viking Sun to see how she compared with other ships in a similar category and to assess the pros and cons of a 12-day ocean voyage that included stretches of two, four and two consecutive days at sea, far away from land, when most Viking cruises are port intensive. A seven-day cruise frequently includes five or six ports of call. Some ships, though, sail the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean in winter. Spring arrives and they depart Miami and sail eastbound. In autumn or early winter they leave Barcelona, Civitavecchia or Piraeus, head westward and go to Florida ports.
