OCEAN GROUP and the ships that went to China

An article published in the Ships Monthly last year, entitled Chinese Classics (May 2017), focussed on ships sold to the People's Republic of China, but flagged outside mainland China. In the 1970s Ocean Transport and Trading plc ('Ocean') sold several of its Blue Funnel Line and Glen Line cargo liners to Chinese owners, most of which were initially flagged offshore.
