Schottel rolls out new thruster series

In seeking to maintain its business expansion strategy, under-lined by the group's 11% increase in sales last year, German propulsion specialist Schottel has released a new range of transverse thrusters. Comprising the STT1, 2, 3 and 4 types, the latest generation is a development of the largest tunnel thrusters in the series produced to date, and provides an advance in compactness and operating features as well as a platform for new sealing technology.
