Timblo Drydocks secures five-vessel Baogladesh order

Goa-based Timblo Drydocks, part of the Pan-duranga Timblo Group, has secured a contract to construct a complete set of dredging facilities for the Mongla Port Authority, Bangladesh. The project includes the construction of five vessels, comprising one 46cm cutter suction dredger and four support vessels, including accommodation craft. The contract is worth a total of US$8.5M and is being financed under a soft loan finance scheme sanctioned by the Indian Government to Bangladesh through the EXIM Bank of India.
