General conditions in the shipping business are still far away from being sustainable. Commercial shipbuilding is still in crisis. Not the demand side, but the oversupply of vessels and the decline in freight rates is nowadays a big challenge for the shipbuilding industry which itself has built overcapacity during the shipping boom of the early 2000s.
