Brussels - the European Commission published a communication today underlining its political commitment to facilitate sea-borne transport and trade within the European Union. The two proposals outlined in the Communication represent a maritime contribution to the EU Single Market Act Ⅱ, aimed at restoring growth within the EU's internal market. The European Community Ship Owners Associations (ECSA) and the World Shipping Council (WSC) welcome this communication and the two principal measures outlined.
