A never before exhibited portrait of the actor and photographer Dennis Hopper and an previously unseen image of The Clash frontman Joe Strummer will be displayed for the first time in the National Portrait Gallery in London this summer as part of an exhibition devoted to the portraits of pioneering American photographer William Eggleston.
