Workmanlike boat belies its glossy exterior

Visitors to the Seawork show last June could have been forgiving for lookingrnat the standard of finish both externally and internally on Q Marine's Swordfish 30 and dismissing it, as we did initially, as just another sports fishing boat. As the boat and the company were both new, and making their debut at the show, there were no preconceived ideas to make us think otherwise. However, a closer look at the specification, and a talk to Q Marine's representatives, made it clear that things were not all they seemed - under the gloss was a vary serious working boat. So when the opportunity arose to gain a closer acquaintance with boat and builder, courtesy of Q Marine and engine supplier Scania, we grabbed the chance.
