Macduff Ship Design reports an increasing demand for its workboat designs from commercial operators. Perth and Kinross Council has recently signed a contract with Macduff Shipyards for the construction of a twin screw 13m harbour tug. Macduff Ship Design, acting as owner's project managers/designers, has produced a complete design package, including all profile cutting information, and the vessel is scheduled for delivery in March 2007.
