Volvo Penta chose Mays Nor-Shipping event to unveil its new 4-stroke D13 MH diesel engine, formulated specifically for medium and heavy-duty marine commercial applications. The IMO Tier Ill-compliant engine has a dry weight of 1450kg, six in-line cylinders, bore/stroke values of 131/158mm and a 131itre capacity. Built to suit a number of operational requirements, the D13 MH has been made available as five separate models, with power outputs ranging from 295-440kW.
