Macduff and Tor complete first-in-class patrol craft

Turkish builder Tor Marine has launched the first in a new class of Macduff Ship Design-conceived steel-hulled, aluminium patrol boats. The 45m loa Atco Noura, which was delivered to Abdul Rahman Ali Al Turki Company in Saudi Arabia, measures 40.75m between her perpendiculars, features a moulded beam of 8m and a moulded depth of 4.6m and has a maximum summer draught of 2.5m. With a complement of up to 10 members of crew and nine survivors/detainees/passengers, Atco Noura has been designed for continuous operation in a variety of weather conditions, up to 150 miles offshore.
