Samso reinforces island's green reputation

Initially LNG-fuelled, a new vessel for Danish island municipality Samso could become the world's first ferry to operate on locally supplied biogas. A sophisticated, 100m loa double-ender, commissioned by Kommune Samso, embodies a design concept that reflects the island community's strong environmental ethic and focus on self-sufficiency through the use of renewable energy.
