Fishing trawler turnkey first for Western Baltija

Estonian yard Western Baltija Shipbuilding has completed an 86.3m×17.6m fishing trawler for Danish customer Gitte Henning. Designed by Wartsila Ship Design, the vessel, Gitte Henning S349, has been fitted with 13 refrigerated seawater tanks, featuring a combined capacity of 3,200m~3, for storage of fish, which can be loaded and unloaded into and from the tanks via a specially designed vacuum system. The vessel has the capacity to carry up to 14 members of crew.
