Making light work of rescue

ACR Electronics has released a new range of LED strobe lights, dubbed the Firefly PRO range, which is intended to provide a high-visibility, long-range alert for emergency first responders. The Firefly PRO is available in two formats. The first is a standard, manually activated model, which features three activation functions: 'ultra-bright strobe' and 'SOS strobe', to provide rescue authorities with a reliable indication of the casualty's location, and 'steady-on mode, for close-up recovery options. The second, the Firefly PRO Waterbug model, has an armed mode for automatic activation when wet.
