Development work is currently underway by BAE Systems and Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASV) Ltd to progress an unmanned RIB capability, based on the Pacific 950 craft and a 7.3m boat. Both companies are working towards demonstrating these craft at the UK MoD's Unmanned Warrior event, which is set to take place off the West Coast of Scotland in autumn this year. This event will see the UK's Royal Navy, alongside more than 40 organisations from defence, industry and academia, deliver one of the largest unmanned systems events of its kind ever undertaken.
