While Shipyard De Hoop continues to notch up orders for larger cruise and passenger vessels, the Dutch builder has not abandoned the offshore market.Despite the well-publicised decline affecting this latter sector, March and April 2018 saw the yard deliver the first two of a series of six azimuth stern drive (ASD) tugs to Caspian Offshore Construction (COC), which has ordered these vessels to assist with ongoing expansion work at the Tengizchevroil (TCO)-operated Tengiz Oilfield, Kazakhstan.
