As analysts predict good times ahead for the semiconductor and equipment industries, an oft-repeated concern heard at SEMI's 2010 Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS) in January was whether companies will have the workforce in place to take full advantage of the upturn.rnRobert Fry, senior associate economist at DuPont, said the current recovery was likely to be less robust than some previous recoveries. "We think this recovery is a little bit weaker than the historical norm," he said. "But I'm not sure businesses are ready for even that."
