Method for Continuous Monitoring of Electrical Rock Resistivity

摘要

This paper presents the main results of developing a method for continuous monitoring of rock resistivity. The method uses continuous electromagnetic radiation of man-made or natural origin as a sounding signal. Underground electrical antennas are used as sensors. The physical basis of this method is the dependence of rock resistivity on the degree of fluid saturation, which changes under mechanical stress variations in geological media.
