ON MISSION IN LATIN AMERICA

In the ongoing effort to develop a Multinational Maritime Task Force in Latin America and the Caribbean, United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) late this spring deployed Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Southern Command (SPMAGTF-SC) to Central America, marking the fifth year that this specialized team has been able to train for and provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to Central American countries.
