European Councils Meet in France; Madrid Organizes NATO Symposium

The Navy League''s European Councils capped 2007 with a pair of high-profile, though quite different, events in France and Spain. In late October, members from each of the 11 European councils attended the third • annual Navy League European Councils Conference in Cannes, France. The conference, with its theme of "United We Stand," welcomed council presidents and board members from Italy, Spain, France and England who engaged in a number of business meetings while enjoying an array of special receptions and sightseeing.
