It is with renewed purpose and great anticipation that I begin my second term as your National President. Interacting with the active-duty personnel who attended our National Convention in Honolulu in June truly was inspiring. Indeed, we listened with great pride as the many accomplishments of our Sea Services Award winners were recounted during the awards luncheon. [See story, page 56] These individuals displayed courage, initiative, imagination and care for their fellow service members, and have been recognized as being the very best of the best.
