Spanish Navy Leaguers Mark Centennial of U.S. Naval Aviation

The centennial anniversary of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviation was marked with events in and around Rota, Spain, on Nov. 13 hosted by representatives of the Navy League in Spain. The celebration of this milestone and U.S. military men and women was a one-of-a-kind event in Europe, and was well represented by an international contingent of military personnel, civilians, industry representatives and the diplomatic corps, according to Eva Garcia, the Navy League National Presidents Representative in Spain and former president of the Madrid Council.
