Touring Mexico on bicycle from Baja California to Chiapas, covering 5000 miles over seven months, sounds like a dream vacation. Yet for the rock band the Ginger Ninjas, such a trip made a statement on the ability to travel and perform without the use of fossil fuels. Favoring scenic roads with little traffic, the band cycled south, arranging shows as they went. They also pedaled to generate power for the digital amplifiers they used at their 100 performances. Filmmaker Sergio Morkin encountered the band at a concert early in the trip and then spent five months following them.
