摘要

The heterobinuclear complexes of alkali metal salts of 1 -nitroso-2-naphthol (1N2N) & o-nitrophenol (ONP) with Ni(Ⅱ) & Cu(Ⅱ) metal chelates of 5,8-dihydroxy-l,4- naphthaquinone (Naphthazarin) have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, conductivity, magnetic measurements, IR and UV-VIS spectral data. Their IR spectral data suggest bonding between the metal chelates and alkali metal has most likely occurred by dative bond via oxygen atom of C-0 (phenolic). Magnetic moment values and electronic spectral studies suggest their octahedral structure.
