AN EOQ MODEL FOR PERISHABLE ITEMS WITH STOCK-DEPENDENT SELLING RATE AND PERMISSIBLE DELAY IN PAYMENT AND PARTIAL BACKLOGGING

An economic order quantity system consisting of perishable items with stock-dependent selling rate and permissible delay in payment and partial backlogging is discussed in the present study. In this paper, we focus on the effect of the backlogging rate with permissible delay in payments on the economic order quantity decision. The existence and uniqueness of the solutions of the relevant systems are examined. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the developed model.
