Historical Note on Amulspray

Many may not know that the popular infant food available in the market in the brand name Amulspray was developed by the scientists at Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore. Infant food has been produced commonly from cow milk. Since buffalo milk is more available in India than cow milk, scientists at CFTRI developed a process to produce infant food from buffalo milk and the processing formula was then transferred to Kaira District Milk Producers Union at Anand, Gujrat for commercialization and marketing.
