摘要

The experimental work done by HGJ Moseley about one hundred years back led to the profound understanding of the elements. Elements were identified with the unique atomic number and the periodic table of elements got its right shape. However Moseley lost his life in the battlefield during the First World War. Scientific community considers this as one of the greatest losses.
