This book is important in the light of present day pollution problem. We live amidst diverse types of environmental pollution. The author has specifically written on aquatic pollution, with reference to a single species of fish - Clarias batrachus. L. The author performed different experiments on a fish sp. after treatment with toxic chemicalls. There are important and interesting information for both junior and senior research workers. It will help them to conduct and plan future experiments on fish or other aquatic animals. The cited references are informative for research works. The major part of the book is written on experimental results observed on a fish (Clarias batrachus) after injecting with different doeses of toxic chemicals. The chemicals used were copper, zinc, mercury and lead.
