NATIONAL SEMINAR ON SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY: THE NEED FOR STATE SPECIFIC APPRAISAL (26-27 FEBRUARY, 2014, BOSE INSTITUTE, KOLKATA)

摘要

The two day National Seminar on the above mentioned subject with a special focus on Science, Technology and Innovation Policy - 2013 held on 26-27 February 2014 at Bose Institute, Kolkata, was organized by the Indian Science News Association (ISNA). This is probably the first of its kind in the country after the NSTI Policy 2013 was announced by the Prime Minister in the Kolkata Session of the Indian Science Congress in January 2013. The seminar discussed certain general and specific issues in four sub thematic panel. The topics were of wide ranging nature and attended by a number of distinguished participants.
