摘要

Red phosphors CaAl12O19: Mn4+ (CAO: Mn) have been synthesized by combustion method and solid sate chemistry. The emission intensity of the phosphor increased 8 times with the addition of 50 mol% MgF2 of Ca2+. The structure and micro morphologies of the phosphors have been investigated by X- ray diffraction (XRD) and scan emission microscope (SEM), respectively. The morphology of the red phosphor CAO: Mn is dependent on the synthesis methods and the fuels used during combustion methods. The luminescence properties and morphologies have been optimized by the addition of a mixture of urea, citric acid, and fluorides.
