Only reaching the front line in November 1944, the Invader -A-26 as it was at that time - fought over Europe and in the final actions against the Japanese. In the Far East it stayed to make its major contribution to air warfare, during the Korean War, before enjoying an operational renaissance between 1962 and 1970 over the jungles of Vietnam.
