Construction begins with the interior, which is more of arngeneralisation of the real thing, the cockpit rear bulkhead being a notable omission. However, given the scale, it will suffice as once the fuselage is buttoned up little is visible through the transparencies. Assembly of the model is quick, but caution needs to be taken as the fit of parts is not ideal in places, notably between the fuselage halves. Misalignment between thernparts creates a substantial step along thernseams, however a careful filling and sanding job makes light work of this. Much trickier are the gaps left along the inside of the exhausts, which prove troublesome to sand once the filler is in place; a sheet of wet and dry would be the tool of choice in this instance.
