Demand for data, new participants and markets are some of the dynamics pointing to a change in fleet connectivity as disruptive technologies fuel fierce competition. Mobility executives discussed growth in coming years in aviation, maritime, ground and other segments at the Connectivity Business Investment Conference in Chicago. Speakers included Azad Badakhsh, managing director of financial services firm Moelis, and Greg Ewert, president of connected car and intelligent transport systems for satellite operator Globalstar (NYSE:GSAT).
